skincare has been a big thing for me. it took me a while, almost 3 years, but eventually i got a good skincare routine. it doesn't take 15-20 steps. its normally 6-8 steps and doesn't take forever. In this blog i will tell you all of the steps to have a proper skincare routine, that is al natural, and will keep your skin healthy and happy.
what type of skin do you have:
there are three types of skin. normal, dry, and oily. depending on which type of skin you have, your skincare can be different, and you may need different items for your skin.
The products you will need are:
toner, serum, face moisturizer, sunscreen
Toner: rosewater, and witch hazel are the best natural toners. toners normally helps with dark spots, can tighten pores, and reduce redness. this is not a necessity, but it is very much recommended
Serum:You can have many serums, but the ones i recommend are Vitamin C serum. it reduces pigmentation, brightens your skin, and fights sun damage. there are also other serums that have different benefits, but it normally depends on your skin type. there are others like hyaluronic acid, AHA, and many others.
face moisturizer: this keeps your skin from drying out, and keeps the skin barrier healthy. shea butter is great if you have dry skin, but for oily skin types, go with a moisturizer that is not oil-based. a lot of Korean brands have oil free moisturizers.
sunscreen: sunscreen is very important any time of day, even when it's cold. shea butter does have a spf, so you can use at as a moisturizer and a sunscreen. but if you are using an non oil based moisturizer, you might need to find a oil free moisturizer, or something that works for you
